OUTDOOR COMMUNITY SUPPORT FACILITY RECOVERY EFFORTS
Want to join our efforts but not sure where to start? Make a Donation and take advantage of this incredible opportunity to lend your support in helping us rebuild our Outdoor Community Support Facility.
On Saturday, August 14 at approximately 11:45 p.m., someone stole a nearby large forklift and drove through our parking lot with the intention of destroying our tent. This person ran straight through the fence and completely destroyed the Food Distribution outdoor facility.
We are committed to continuing to serve our community with food, testing and other pandemic-related support. Our neighbors’ needs have not lessened in the last eighteen months; we have seen an increase in the number of cars coming every week recently and know this will continue. We are in the process of planning how to secure the entrances to our parking lot, and replace the destroyed structure with something that will last for years and resist any further vandalism.

SSCC strongly believes that true ministry goes beyond the walls of the church and reaches to transform and rebuild its community in a tangible way.
